Japan albeit boast being a racially tolerant country has no effective restrictions on xenophobic actions, and
foreign nationals to speak of.
日本は、自分の国を人種について寛容な国だと外国人に向けて喧伝する割には、
国内での絶望的な排外主義的活動を抑制する効果的な策を打てていない。
Moreover, foreign nationals are known to have sometimes restricted from certain services and activities.
加えて、周知の通り日本では外国人は特定の待遇や処置について明確な制限が設けられている。
Back in the year 2005, a United Nations report expressed deep concerns about racism
in the country and that government recognition of the depth of the problem was not satisfactory.
